Who is Malcolm Smith?
For over 20 years, Malcolm Smith's incredible healing gifts have relieved pain, suffering and disease for thousands of people. Known as “an ordinary man with an extraordinary gift,” Malcolm discovered his healing ability through a spiritualist medium who told him he had ‘healing hands’. When he expressed doubt, the medium told him to place his hands on his wife, Kathleen, who suffered from a chronic, painful kidney ailment. When he did, her pain went completely away and never returned. For the next two years, he used his gift only on his family before going public.
A native of Yorkshire, England, Malcolm's unique gift has restored sight and hearing, cured cancers and other debilitating diseases. The list of problems presented to Malcolm includes virtually every physical, emotional, mental and spiritual condition a person could suffer. Regardless of the problem, Malcolm treats everyone equally, with love, compassion, and understanding, and the results are the same: a feeling you are in the presence of the Divine.
“God does the healing, not me,” says Malcolm whose amazing true-life story is told in Healer!, published in England in 1988 and currently being revised and updated for an American audience.
Malcolm says he does not understand why he was granted the gift of healing, but he humbly accepts the reality that he has been chosen to ease the suffering of people from all walks of life with the healing balm of his touch.
While some offer ‘the power of suggestion’ as the basis for his cures, Malcolm has successfully treated a horse and a variety of household pets. Animal healings, as well as others involving tiny babies and comatose accident victims, seem to rule out “suggestion” as an explanation of his success, and imply another force, or energy, is involved.
